well, we are still alive & kicking our Culture :-)
Until the summer 2012, our electronic gatherings will focus on the great positive vibrations that we can only create at intimate locations such as: a huge artist loft... or an old-school warehouse... The Proud Bird by LAX... or an magical outdoor spot... So, for the near future, come share your energy at these smaller gigs. They will feature our Artist roster & residents. We will have a a monthly gigs (look calendar) and, also, a weekly club, all taking place _ the same kind of venues mentioned above.
- In the beginning, we were 450 groovers
coming to our first gathering ASTRAL BITS on Oct 25 1997 at the ivar theater in Hollywood... Within less than 3 years, we hosted a group of 4,800 happy peeps at the famous Masterdome for the packed EKG of 2000... Since then, we always alternate smaller undergrounds in between our special events; which ones can get big as: 3,700 random people sharing their Love for FUNTASTIK 2004 at Qtopia aka Vanguard Hollywood; or 2,700 worshipers at The Temple for PRIMAL TRANCE 2005... or the 3,300 electronic soulmates gathering at the famous RRanch in the Angeles Forest for
the notoriously magical SPACE OPERA in the summer 2006 with 6 areas of super-natural bliss & 2,700 groovers...
- 15 Years is half of a "Trippy" 30-Year Plan...
But, for the near future, come share your vibes at these smaller gigs (18 & over with cheaper tickets) will feature our Artist roster & residents. We will tape our new iRadio shows there too... And tune in to our iRadio station (coming soon).

And we wish to share with you some of the ideas at our undergrounds before we begin our teenage years in 2010. Together, with your positive help, we will write, once more, a new evolved "mission statement" to lead our various projects to 2017 when we will be 20 years zen...

_ 1980, Belgium. My 1st beloved walkman hooked to 2 songs (& videos): " O Superman " and " Video Killed The Radio Star "...
_ 1982, back to Paris, France. Got my 1st "Boombox" with dual-tapes! And started to record the new "Pirate FM radios"... Soon after, I was making my 1st mix-tapes using "Pause" & "Rec" (prehistorical time). So, my 1st LIVE CONCERT was a Reggae jam packed under a smoke-filled circus tent by the river, in middle of Paris. For the 3,000+ attendees, the unforgettable fire of that night will remain STEEL PULSE which was touring for their legendary LP " True Democracy ". Released in May 1982 (re-issued in 2005), it had many hits like " Ravers " (no kidding lyrics )... Life's funny hidden hint... Amazingly, I just made the connection only today Sept 10 '09 while re-searching online... Well, back then, at 15, "english" was the "incomprehensible" voices part of the music :-D
2. Rewind To Binary Abduction
_ So, with some Electronic music in my playlists for the last few years already, I went to my first rave-party on New Year's Eve 1984. Our sexy girls took us to this old cargoship turned into a special event spot on the famous Seine river and under the magical lights of Paris at night. The dancefloor was under the waterline & was thundering with that House Techno Rave? WTF? Anyway, great time... Sounds made by unknowns (Vox Populi) -or- legendary bands (Art of Noise)... It was way back when I was 17... And this new incredible soundtrack to my life took over without my own knowledge... In the beginning, it all sounded to me like random electronic "noises" which generated a huge pulsing headache within 30 mns. Well, to dull the thumping pain and in keeping with one of the greatest "worldwide tradition", I found my way to the drinks and got drunk... It was during France's emerging Rave scene with the "Acid House" leading the global beats... And, after one of the Rock concerts like: The Clash, Devo, U2, PIL, The Cure, Pink Floyd or Jane's Addiction... Then, the mad worship started in 1986, and for the next 2 years... It took another 2 dozen Rave parties to finally convert me to this musical sub-culture (then): The Rave Culture... Well, it was the beginning of a new weird "Rock'N'Rave" slice of my life (as part-time field promoter)...
Once a while, i got hired to promote Rave flyers to the crowd at concerts/clubs. Work Then Fun: WTF? Because I was going to the Alternative Rock concerts almost every week. Finally I was converted to that Rave Culture in 1988... over 2 decades now...

3. United States Of Earth
_ 1990, I felt the need to expand my horizon(s) with one more global move... Within a year, I saved enough money to pay for a 5-week stay in the USA... That 1991's trip helped me in selecting the city where to "Be Born Again" (just kidding). It was in between: New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco...
_ July 1992, just after the crazy Los Angeles riots of April, I moved to Los Angeles & stayed in Santa Monica at the beginning... To save money, I stayed at few different hostels or spared couch. In early 1993, with 2 roomates (a french & an italian), we rented a huge 3 bedrooms in the heart of Venice Beach, on Westminster Ave (at 5th Ave)... Well, my "karma" let me be able to move back & forth in bertween Santa Monica and Venice Beach... So, last July 2009 marked my (already) 17 years by the Pacific Ocean and still going... "That Was Fucking Trippy" is what I say when thinking about the Universe and Humanity... Then, after some deep thoughts (or none), I will turn on the sound-system to get me energized enough to groove on electronic frequencies.
_ 1994, after a couple years of "Bar Flying", I started to promote again. With few people, I co-founded and worked with 2 crews: GOA TRANCE MIND TRIP (94-96), then SIXTH SENSE (96-97). They were 2 worthy lessons. Anyway, I had to adapt to the situation and evolve once again. So, after thinking about our natural human evolution, I founded "NEO SAPIENS" in summer 1997 with our 1st party in Oct. It is an entity dedicated to the Energy of our beloved Culture: Bringing People Together Without Prejudice

The annual festival, in south-west England, got permits until 2011 for 177,500 capacity: Control-Out-Of-Control :-)
